Arpin International (China)
Michael has over eight years of experience in the moving and relocation industry, in addition he has been living internationally for more than a decade and is trilingual (English, Chinese, Korean) and has a working knowledge of Egyptian Arabic.
Since joining the industry, his primary responsibilities included managing corporate business development teams, client relations, account implementation, client growth strategies, people management and digital marketing.
As General Manager of Arpin International (China), Michael demonstrates the leadership competency necessary to achieve measurable results and create an environment of mutual respect, trust, and accountability.
Michael oversees the daily operation of the Arpin International Group’s Shanghai, China, office works closely with Arpin’s VP Asia-Pacific Region, Michael Johnsen, on continuous improvement, training, and business development strategies.
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies from Nyack College, NY. He is certified in the Lean Six Sigma methodology and Google Adwords for online advertising.
In his spare time, Michael volunteers his time with several organizations including Habitat for Humanity, People-4-Pets, and River of Hearts.
