Habitat for Humanity Recognizes Arpin/Daly MoversNovember 03, 2010
Habitat for Humanity, this month, recognized Arpin/Daly Movers for donating trailer storage space, worth an estimated $60,000, during a volunteer home construction project in San Juan Capistrano, California.
The Habitat for Heroes and Foundations for Families program constructed 27 homes, which were sold to veterans and their families, or surviving families, helping them to achieve the American dream of homeownership. The homes were officially dedicated in September 2010.
“Habitat for Heroes is an essential program for making sure our local veterans are provided affordable housing,” said Chip Martin, president of Daly Movers. “We are very proud to be a part of this important cause and commend the Orange County chapter for spearheading this national program.”
The Habitat for Humanity program is the first in the United States to directly benefit veterans and their families, making this a significant milestone for the Orange County chapter.About Daly Movers:
