Marco Uriati Appointed to Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Arpin GroupJanuary 18, 2014
Arpin Group, Inc., a recognized leader in the global household goods relocation and storage industries, has appointed Marco P. Uriati to the position of chief legal officer and general counsel.
Uriati has served as general counsel and senior vice president of Arpin Group since 2007, and previously as outside counsel since 1999. He is an accomplished, results-driven executive and motivated attorney with a sharp business acumen and comprehensive background including international transportation, complex-litigation, regulatory compliance, corporate, insurance, commercial real estate, and employment law. Additionally, Uriati brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position in the areas of strategic planning, government affairs, risk management, and operations. He will oversee all legal and compliance matters for Arpin Group’s enterprises worldwide, which includes offices and affiliates in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China.

Uriati is admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island, the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the United States Court Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is the current second-term chairman of the Legal Advisory Council of the American Moving and Storage Association, the oldest and largest trade organization of its kind in the U.S. He is active in other domestic and international trade groups, as well as various philanthropic organizations. Marco is married with four children and resides in Barrington, R.I.
