News Alert – Update on BrexitJanuary 28, 2020
The UK Parliament has passed the Withdrawal Agreement Bill and will leave the EU on 31 January 2020.
Whilst the UK will no longer be a member of the EU, it will follow EU rules until 31 Dec 2020. This is known as the “transition period.”
During the “transition period,” the top priority will be implementing a UK-EU free trade deal. This will outline the rules for the movement of goods, services, people, and money between the two entities.
