Service Interruption Alert: Arpin International (UK) Ltd. Temporarily Suspends Household Goods Packing and Unpacking Services in the UK Amid COVID-19 PandemicMarch 26, 2020
The UK Government, together with Public Health England, have issued very strict guidelines to companies and individuals on how to protect ourselves from contacting the COVID-19 virus.
At Arpin International (UK) Ltd., our absolute priority is the safety and well-being of our clients, employees, and supply-chain partners. With this in mind, we have made the very difficult decision to suspend our packing and unpacking services in the UK from 27 March through 14 April 2020, at which time we shall review the situation.
We realise the impact this action will have on all parties concerned, but we trust you appreciate the seriousness of the situation as this is the only way we can guarantee the safety of everyone involved in the moving process.
Consequently, all shipments arriving in the UK during this time period will be cleared through customs in the normal way and placed into storage-in-transit (SIT) until such time that we are able to make a safe delivery and unpack.
Your Arpin Service team is aware of all shipments that may be impacted and will make arrangements to ensure appropriate parties are kept informed of any potential service disruption as we continue to work remotely.We would like to thank all of our clients, employees, and supplier partners for their support and patience during these exceptional times.
