United States Continues to Ban Air Shipments from EgyptJanuary 27, 2016
Amidst continued national security concerns, the United States has decided to continue its ban on air cargo shipments entering the country from Egypt following the crash of Metrojet Flight 9268. The downing of the flight, originally bound for Russia in October 2015, was found to be the result of a terrorist act.
Customers with import shipments from Egypt must enter the US by ocean. Sea shipments take approximately 6-9 weeks door-to-door. All transit times are pending local customs clearance at port of entry and some factors beyond our control, such as bad weather conditions or rerouting, etc.
Your Arpin Service team is aware of all shipments that may be impacted and will manage the expectations of relocating families.
